Liquids can me milk, petrol, water, sea water, coke and blood.
Solids can be wood, plastic, furniture, sand, fruit, bodies and bones.
Gas can be fog, steam and smoke.
We are learning about what happens to solids when you mix them.
Today we made fruit salad by mixing the pieces of fruit.
"We could still see the pieces of fruit when we stirred it," said Emma
Then we ate our delicious fruit salad!
Next we mixed some jelly.
"The jelly crystals were solid," said Marcus.
"They changed into a liquid when we put the hot water in the bowl," said Jack.
"The water turned pink because the jelly crystals turned it to pink," said Keira.
"We stirred the jelly and it was hot and wobbly," said Max.
