Measuring the Big Pumpkin!

We  are  measuring our  giant  pumpkin  with  a  piece of  string.

We  put  our  finger  on  the  string  so  it  could  stay  on  the  pumpkin.

Then  we  put  the  string  down  on  the  ground.

Next  we  put  some   cubes  along  the  string  to  see   how  long  it  was.

We  needed  117  white cubes  or  11  oranges  rods  and  7  white  cubes.
