The Ranfurly Shield Visits Room 3!

The  Ranfurly  Shield  is  for  rugby.  The  winning  team  gets  to  take  the   shield  home  to  their  region.

The  shield  is  cool  because  it  is  shiny  and  has  little  shields  with  names  on  them.

We  hope  that  we  win  the   Ranfurly  Shield  for  the  Waikato!

Special Guests

Three  Chief  rugby  players  were  our  special  guests  at  Hinuera  School  today!

They  answered  our  questions  about  rugby.

Then  they  signed  our  books,  t-shirts, rugby  balls  and  posters.

We  were  excited  to  meet  them!

Rhythm and Rap!

Last  week  Harry  made  up  a  new  rap  to  sing  to  the  class.

At  music  time  we  created   a  rhythm  to  play  with  the  it.
