Ag Day!

Watching the Ag Day Show

We  had  a  great  time  meeting  up  with  the  Room  1  kids  showing  animals  at  Ag Day.

We  also looked  at  some  of  the  calves.  

Next, we  were  off  to  the  food  stall  to  buy  some  yummy  food!

More  fun  was  yet  to  come.  We  helped  Austin  and  Olive  dig  up  their  potatoes!

What  a  great  day!!!

America

Today  Mrs  Volk  came  to  our  class  and  talked  to  us  about  America.

We  learned  that:

Los  Angeles  and  New  York  are  big  cities  in  America.

We  have  to  fly  in  a  plane  over  the  clouds  that look  like  snow  to  get  to  America.

America  is  where  the  first  McDonald's  was  built.

Disneyland  is  in  America. 

Mrs  Volk  read  us  a  story  written  by  a  famous American  author  Eric  Carle  called  'The  Very Hungry  Caterpillar'.

Thank  you  Mrs  Volk,  we  loved  having  you  visit  us  and  hearing  your  American  accent!
